"JACKSON, Richard L., 66, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord February 3, 2010. Richard was baptized at an early age and joined the 31st Street Baptist Church of Richmond. He was educated in the Richmond Public School system and was a former employee of Pitchford Cleaners. As a young adult, Richard's passion was music, which led him to the entertainment field, where he was known as 'Dickie Wonder.' He recorded with August Moon and was associated with groups including Henrietta Doswell, Doris Allen, Major Harris and special friend, Tyrone Thomas with the group '7 Minutes of Funk.' "
