Tommy LiPuma

Real name: Thomas LiPuma

US American A&R executive and music producer.
He worked for Liberty/ Imperial (1961–1965), A&M Records (1965–1969), Blue Thumb Records (1968–1974), Warner Bros. Records (1974–1978, 1979–1990), A&M/Horizon (1978–1979), Elektra (1990–1995) and GRP/Verve Records (1994–2011).
He was a key figure in the career development of such artists as Michael Franks and Diana Krall. A highly influential producer, he inspired the careers of many younger producers like John Snyder, Arnaldo DeSouteiro and Larry Rosen.

Born July 5, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Died March 13, 2017 in New York City, New York, USA.
