Daughter of Gaston Mandeville, multi-instrumentalist with a sharp writing style, Samuele deposits intimate and engaged poetry on a folk-rock sound with a strong blues background. Comfortable on stage as a plant in the sun, Samuele performs on Montreal's underground bar stages before the legal age to do so. Alone on guitar, accompanied by musical accomplices or, constrained by austerity, as a woman band, Samuele delivers a disarming show of honesty, mixing songs and spoken word.
