Brazilian drummer, composer, arranger, producer and teacher (Niterói, RJ, 1951-07-15/ Rio de Janeiro, RJ, 2024-01-17). Self-taught, he started playing at 15 years old, performing at dances, radio and TV in Rio de Janeiro with his group Os Corujas. Played in some of the most important progressive groups in the country, such as Mutantes, Barca do Sol e Veludo Elétrico. Accompanied Ney Matogrosso, Marina, Moraes Moreira, Zé Ramalho, Erasmo Carlos, Sá & Guarabyra, Ednardo, Amelinha, Jorge Mautner, Luli & Lucinha, Renato Teixeira, Jerry Adriani, Bebel Gilberto, Steve Hackett and many others.
