Little Roger and the Goosebumps is a pop/rock band from San Francisco active during the 1970s and early 1980s and resurrected in 2006. It has been led throughout its history by guitarist/vocalist Roger Clark and violinist Dick Bright; initially formed in 1973, the lineup consisted of Clark, Bright, bassist Steve Knauth, saxophonist/keyboardist Richard Van Dorn, drummer Cary Griffin, and guitarist John Dzerigian. Dzerigian left within the first year and was replaced by Sleepy Deroy guitarist John Shields. Knauth & Griffin were replaced next; Knauth for not quite being good enough, and Griffin for being "too good." David Seabury replaced Knauth on bass, and Sleepy Deroy drummer Pat Rooney replaced Griffin. Roadie/sound engineer/light man Mark Wallner also played keyboards for the group and was later promoted to their manager. The group announced their disbandment in 1977 but resurfaced for several novelty singles in the early 80's.
