L'Orchestre Afrisa International was created in 1965 by Tabu Ley Rochereau after the tension between Rochereau and Dr. Nico and the definitive split of the band Orchestre African Fiesta, founded in 1963.Rochereau has renamed the band "Orchestre African Fiesta 1966", and a few months later, " L'Orchestre African Fiesta National Le Peuple " then Orchestre Afrisa L'International, and made a new label named Ed. Flash (complete name is Éditions Flash - Rochereau Chante), then renamed Isa ( "ISA" means International Service Artistique).
Afrisa name is mixed with "African" and his label "ISA".
Meanwhile, Dr. Nico decided to play under the moniker L'Orchestre African Fiesta Sukisa through his own Sukisa label.
This update is to dissociate Orchestre African Fiesta (1963-1965) and their following names after 1965.
