The Commander of the air force "Fernando Matthei Aubel" orders the hiring of the musical director of the German police band, Lieutenant Colonel "Arthur Max Rosin", in order to reorganize and convert the Banda de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile into a set of high-level cultural dissemination

Its most outstanding milestones were the "Presencia de Chile" national tour in 1981, an international tour to Paraguay in 1983, the recording of 4 LP Records, and one of the most important events was the inauguration of the "Semanas Musicales de Frutillar" in 1982, the greatest meeting of learned music in Latin America, a fact that has been maintained every year until today.
Rosin promoted the Banda de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile until 1983, returning to his country of origin, Germany.
