Norwegian Anita Hegerland (March 3, 1961) was Mike Oldfield's former girlfriend and mother to two of his children (Greta Hegerland-Oldfield and Noah Hegerland Oldfield), she also recorded and performed with him for seven years. But before this she had a million selling hit in her childhood with Roy Black titled Schön ist es auf der Welt zu sein (1971). When she was young, her biggest idol was Louis Armstrong, alongside The Beatles, Elvis Presley and ABBA in her teenage years. Next to singing and song-writing she loves writing books, played in several movies (1973, 1985 and 1987) and likes sewing, working with patchwork designs and making her own quilts.
