Cajun accordionist, fiddler, songwriter, and vocalist from Louisiana, who first recorded in 1929 with the Walker Brothers band, which also included his father Allen Walker and his brother Elton Walker (both fiddlers). During his career, Walker wrote several original songs that are still in the Cajun repertoire, including Reno Waltz, Evangeline Waltz, Bosco Stomp, and Mamou Two Step.
