Tiguana Bibles was a rock'n'blues group from Portugal, fronted by the Scottish singer Tracy Vandal formerly of Dick Johnson, with Victor Torpedo from Tédio Boys and The Parkinsons, Pedro Serra on bass and Carlos Mendes aka Kaló on drums, previously from Bunnyranch and also from Tédio Boys, they were later joined by Paul "Hofner" Nesbitt on guitar and organ and after his passing in 2010, Augusto Cardoso then joined the group as their 2nd guitarist, he had previously collaborated with Kaló in Bunnyranch. The group name is a word play on Tijuana Bibles, a term used to refer to palm-sized pornographic comic books once popular in the US. They formed in 2007 and released an EP titled "Child of The Moon" in 2009 and an album in 2011 titled "In Loving Memory Of...", a reference to Hofner's passing, the group gave their last 2 shows on March 2012.
