Synergy

Real name: Lawrence Roger Fast

Effective period / Period of releases: 1975 - 2002

Larry Fast is an American synthesizer player born Dec. 10, 1951 in Livington, New Jersey, USA. He is better known under his nom de guerre, Synergy. His early releases in the mid-70s as Synergy mixed classical music influences and adaptations with original compositions. Increasingly, Synergy albums became more original and rock-based, adding other instruments. That is, excepting Computer Experiments, an album of ambient music created with randomly controlled computer programming. He also worked with artists like Nektar, Tony Levin and Annie Haslam, and was featured in Peter Gabriel’s band.

Note: Larry Fast owns the trademark Synergy for use on recordings in the United States, registration numbers 1,273,912, 1,545,702, and 3,819,992 in the US Patent and Copyright Office.
