Classical mandolinist, active from age 7 (first price for solo mandolin at the Turin conservatory) until into her 80s.
First Latin American concert tour with age 9 (accompanied by her father on guitar), returned to Italy at age 15. Married Jules Scivittaro 29 May 1915 and moved to France. After starting a family, she returned to her musical career in 1930 as solo mandolinist at the Paris Opera. Additionally, concert and radio appearances, movie soundtrack work kept her busy until her retirement in the mid-1970s.
