Real name: Avelio Falana

Avelio Falana studied music for several years, worked at televisions stations in New York City, and appeared in Commercials, Magazine Ads, Television and Films, including Shaft in Africa (1973) and The Streets of San Francisco (1972). Loving to perform, and sounding like one of his favorite artists, Johnny Mathis, he decided to begin performing a Tribute to Johnny Mathis. Avelio has been performing the character of Johnny Mathis, all over the world, since 1994.
Avelio Falana is the brother of Lola Falana, who became well known as a singer/dancer.
