UK progressive rock / jazz band led by Alan Gowen, loosely lumped into the Canterbury genre.Gowen rebounded from a short-lived band with Allan Holdsworth and Jamie Muir when Muir left to join King Crimson in 1972 by putting together Gilgamesh.
They later went on to play closely with Hatfield And The North and the band National Health formed from players from the two bands.
