Real name: Gregorio Paniagua García-Calderón

Born in Madrid, 1944, he studied cello and viola da gamba and then conducting with Sergiu Celibidache. He also performs on the vihuela, lute, and hurdy gurdy. In 1964, he founded the ensemble Atrium Musicae de Madrid, with which he has performed worldwide.Brother of Carlos Paniagua, Eduardo Paniagua and Luis Paniagua.
