Andres Serron
Real name: Andrés Serrón
Immersed in the Uruguayan electronic scene from an early age, he began DJing at 20, focusing on experimental breakbeat and drum and bass. Starting in lounges, he evolved into his "sivcode" project, a drum and bass, neurofunk alias that achieved notable success. His "Introspectiva" compilation, released through underground network channels, led to performances at the international Bad Boy Orange +160 event in Buenos Aires.Continuing to innovate, he brought breakbeat to Montevideo, refining it into progressive breaks, tech funk, and electro. Heavily inspired by the UK breakbeat and techno scenes, he integrated fresh influences and techniques, significantly shaping the local electronic music landscape. His residency at Central Club was the culmination of these successes, establishing breakbeat as a core element and showcasing his refined style.
Returning to his roots, he launched a new era of Deep House, Tech House, and Techno at the official afterhour for the 2007 La Paloma's biggest electronic festival, produced by Key and featuring top Uruguayan performers. This impactful debut secured him a spot on the Key roster, leading to performances at Key Club and a residency at Key Backdoor, establishing it as a premier techno afterhour venue.
He also became a recurring performer at Open Park, Uruguay's iconic electronic music festival, solidifying his presence in the electronic music scene.
His deep connection with music drives him to continually explore and experiment, bringing fresh sounds and innovative performances to his audience. Whether through his latest track, a live set, or an unexpected remix, he consistently surprises and engages listeners with his creative energy and dedication to his craft.
