Members: Frederick Blackmon, Curtis Jones (8), Ernest Baskerville, Fred Jennings (2), Naamon Johnson

The Jaedes met at Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, AL in 1968.
Group members were Naaman Johnson, Ernest Baskerville, Frederick Blackmon, Fred Jennings and Curtis Jones.
They performed with: Lionel Ritchie & The Commodores, The Drifters, Percy Sledge & many more. They performed at nightclubs & numerous universities throughout the South (i.e., Univ. of Alabama, Kentucky State Univ., Univ. of Miss., Miss. State Univ., Vanderbilt Univ., Univ. of Texas, LSU).
It was at Vanderbilt University that they first made contact with the Athena label in Nashville, TN. From that company, one album and one 45 was produced.
