Maria Monk is a rock band from Providence, RI. Playing in the Providence area for the last year has gelled their disparate influences and styles into a whole greater than the sum of its parts. Their sound ranges from fast and raucous on Ender's Game to dark, epic and driving on Cave In. Some influences include The Replacements, The Pixies, Sebadoh, Neil Young, Weezer and Radiohead.
