East German children's character played and spoken by Heinz Schröder. It first appeared in TV in 1962. Mostly Pittiplatsch is in companion with Schnatterinchen.Last regular TV / record production was in 1991. Since 1993 the characters were touring as live performance. In 2019 a new TV series was produced.
