Think Twice

Members: Armin Glas, Gernot Stadler

Think Twice were an Austrian soft-rock duo consisting of Armin Glas and Gernot Stadler.

In 1986, Stadler wrote “You’ve Got My Heart” while traveling by train, with the lyrics “sitting in the train, rolling on away,” reflecting on his departure. He and Armin then released the song as a single, which immediately rose to No. 10 in the Austrian hit parade.
Their last song together was “Childhood Memories,” a soundtrack created for Stadler’s final film at the New York Film Academy in 1997, for which he and Armin performed and recorded.

In 2016, “You’ve Got My Heart” became the subject of online discussion when a radio recording emerged on a site dedicated to identifying unknown or lost music.
