Silvana was born in Doboj, Bosnia and Hercegovina 1951 into a Muslim and ethnically Bosniak family.She was the sister of singers Silvana Armenulić and Dina Bajraktarević.Bosnian folk singer.

After her sister Silvana, became well known as a singer and recording artist in the 1960s Mirsada obtained a record deal which led to her and recording her first single at the age of eighteen in 1969 (released in 1970). She continued to release singles and album in the 1970s until her death.

She died 10 October 1976 in a car accident together with her sister Silvana.
