The group "Josquin des Prés", originated in 1974 with the meeting of five musicians all sharing the same enthusiasm for music for brass instruments.

The group's name was chosen in memory of the man known as the "Prince of Musicians".
The "Quintet Josquin des Prés"' program ranges from Renaissance to contemporary music.

All of these artists, whether members or soloists of the highest Parisian training, are, in addition, music professors in various Parisian conservatories.
