SEA TIGER was an instrumental band from Washington DC in the mid to late 1990s. The band was an offshoot of the DC band The Sorts, with Sorts bassist Stuart Fletcher playing guitar and Sorts guitarist Joshua LaRue playing drums. The recordings were made by Fletcher & LaRue in their home studio and mixed with the help of Juan Carrera at Pirate House in DC. Troubleman Records released a 12" EP & a full length LP; Southern Records release a 7" single. Sea Tiger played a number of shows during this time as a five-piece band with Fletcher & LaRue augmented by adding Chris Farrall on percussion, Joseph McRedmond on bass, and David Batista on electric piano.
