American electronic musician and composer.

He received his Ph.D. in music theory from the University of Texas at Austin where he studied composition with Barton McLean. He was for some time Associate Professor of Theory and Composition at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he was Director of the Electronic Music Studio. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN, in 1952 and died October 26, 1996, from an inoperable brain tumor after a brief illness.
