Agathe Backer Grøndahl (Dec. 1, 1847 in Holmestrand, Vestfold, Norway - June. 4, 1907 in Aker, Ormøya, Norway) was a world famous pianist and composer in her time, and the first female who was respected and got recognition as both composer and performer in classical music in Norway in her time.
