Daughter of Dr. James D. Kerr, Blanche at­tend­ed the In­di­an­a­po­lis Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic and the Amer­i­can Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic, Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois.
