Swiss Pianist born in 1968. He grew up in a musical household and has played the piano from age 7. After some studies at University, studying physics and mathematics he changed for studying music at Swiss Jazz School in Bern. In 1994 went to Berklee on a scholarship, where he got degrees in piano and Jazz composition. He has played with many internationally renowned musicians like Anat Cohen, Jorge Rossy, Nat Su, Jochen Rückert, Bänz Oester, Antonio Sanchez, Samuel Rohrer or Mark Turner. Beck also teaches piano and various other subject at Jazzcampus Basel.
