A native of the Kashmir Valley, Kuldip Singhera settled in Madrid in the early 1960s as a medical student. He started in the world of music as 'The Prince of Light'. In 1966, he recorded his version of 'Spanish Eyes' as Kuldip. The song was made famous worldwide by Al Martino. Kuldip's version was a resounding success that he was never able to repeat. He left Spain and years later returned to the world of music under the name Grant Morgan.
