Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (born 26 July, 1962 in Gweedore, County Donegal) is an Irish fiddle player and vocalist, best knowh for her work in the group Altan. She is also the widow of Altan co-founder Frankie Kennedy. Her first solo album, Imeall, was released in 2009
