New Jersey-based gospel singer most well known for My Family Depends On Me, her first release on Strictly Rhythm.
She later starred as Sarah Vaughn in the historical stage play Mama, I Want To Sing! on a European tour of 42 shows in 30 cities.
During her time with the Metro Mass Choir of New York City, under the tutelage of David Brown, she was a featured singer for the United Nations' World Hunger Campaign.
She was a featured vocalist for the acapella group Chapter 2 and opened for Yolanda Adams and Richard Smallwood.
In 2002, Simone performed to a nationwide audience, singing for the televised Pathmark Gospelfest, and has also appeared on the world famous Apollo Theater stage.
