Love Minus Zero were active from 1985 to 1989. They were based in Sydney, Australia.

They released records on the Waterfront and Citadel labels including:
- two songs on the 'On the Waterfront' compilation, 1986;
- one song on the 'On the Waterfront Volume 3' compilation, 1986; and
- a self titled mini album on the Citadel 'Green Fez' label.

The band recorded three songs at Trafalgar Studios for a single/EP on Citadel but disbanded prior to its release.

They reformed in 2019 for some shows and the release of their collected works on CD.
