DUSX was formed by Tommy in 2019 who used to fill in Godless Symptoms from 2003 to 2018. Cepie from That Enemy helped produce material for DUSX, and vocals were provided by Syafri. DUSX plays progressive or technical grindcore music which is generally not new music to play in the local scene, especially in Bandung. There are several music groups that influenced DUSX, namely Misery Index, Benighted, Absurdist, and so on. Toxicious Anthropoid is the first work they created and worked on in 2020.

The drum track for Toxicious Anthropoid was recorded at Red Studio, a studio that is quite often used by loud music performers in Bandung, located in Gerlong. While guitar and vocals were recorded at Valhalla Audio Labs. Toxicious Anthropoid contains 7 songs with 1 cover song from Keparat entitled Nu Gelo. DUSX plans to do some promotions for the EP Toxicious Anthropoid, making a video clip is one of the agenda this year. Due to the current situation, it is difficult for music actors to move due to limitations to prevent the spread of the virus. With the existence of Toxicious Anthropoid, we all hope that musicians will remain creative in working on material for other mediums, we look forward to the next DUSX agenda after releasing the cassette tape for Toxicious Anthropoid.
