Alan Douglas
Alan Douglas Rubenstein (July 20, 1931 - June 7, 2014). Founder of the Douglas label. American producer known for his work with famous artists such as Lenny Bruce, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, John McLaughlin and The Last Poets. Ran United Artists Records' jazz department from 1960 to 1964, as well as FM (6) from 1964 to 1965.
