Ralph Carlson
Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, producer, record company executive and radio host. Born in Montréal, raised in New Brunswick, moved to Ottawa in the early 1950's. Joined Ron McMunn and his "Country Cousins" in 1961. Five years later he formed "The Countrymen", which eventually became "Country Mile". From his basement recording studio, Carlsound Studios, Ralph co-founded Snocan Enterprises Ltd. / Snocan Studios in 1975 with partners Ron Sparling and Dave Dennison. Co-founder and past director of Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame.

Died October 10, 2002 in Ottawa, Ontario.
Inducted into the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame in 1988.
