The Treat are a three piece British rock band from Oxford, UK. They formed in 2001 and since their inception have released 4 critically acclaimed albums 'In Technicolor '(2003), 'Phonography' (2007), 'Audio Verite/Deceptive Blends' (2009) (double album) and 'Lepers & Deities' (2012). In 2014, band leader and songwriter, Mike Hyder, released a solo album, 'Craftsman' to good reviews and he also compiled a 'best of' collection of songs from the band's four albums. It's called 'Sound Bites' and features 16 songs, over one hours worth of music and includes a 36 page, full colour booklet. The Treat are currently finishing work on their fifth studio album, which will be released later in the year, in 2016.
