Effective period / Period of releases: 2008 - 2009

Norss is a Dutch dark drone project founded by Patrick Uiterweerd in March of 2008.The project is a sound experiment that incorporates field recordings, deformed samples and other found sounds, with the intention to put the listener in an uncomfortable state of mind, thereby igniting any hidden thoughts, whatever these may be. Patrick often collaborated with other artists and released the majority of the work on a dedicated record label Norss Plåten. Patrick Also operated four other record labels and a distribution company.
