Steel band from Trinidad. In the early Fifties Selwyn "Sello" Gomes was the arranger of the band. Their first hit was an adaptation of the "The Happy Wanderer" (the popular German song "Valderi Valdera".) When "Sello" introduced change-key in steel band music, it became an instant hit. That was 1955.
