The Frogs were formed in mid 1979 in Frankfurt/Bergen Enkheim, Germany.

They performed twice live under that name, once at Galluszentrum in 1979 and at the Ahvantz-Festival in November 1979. Another gig in Neu-Isenburg was performed under the name Wunder Der Technik.

in the beginning they were sometimes joined by Jürgen Brenneis

In 1980 Walter Willenlos was kicked out of the band and formed Diffusion (3), while the other members renamed the band into Kinderfreundlich.
