Famous for his own TV show Ernie In Kovacsland, later The Ernie Kovacs Show. Kovacs was the originator of most of the zany, spontaneous comedy you still see on television today.
He was educated at the New York School of Theatre. He was hailed as a genius for his offbeat comedy style and changing much of the way comedy was played.
