Real name: David Howard Cooke

British musician, songwriter, composer, arranger and producer, born October 25, 1952 in Rossendale, England. Started as a session guitarist and pianist, went on to produce Cliff Richard, Helen Shapiro, Jonathan Veira and others. He has also worked as a musical director, his credits include film, television, radio and advertising. Father of Jem Cooke.
