The Teenbeats were a Mod Revival band from Hastings, England, UK.

Formed in 1979 their line up was - Huggy Leaver (ex-The Plastix, vocals) / Ken Copsey, lead guitar / Paul Thomas (16), rhythm guitar / Eddie Mays, bass / Dave Blackman (3), drums.

They were signed to Safari Records and only released 2 singles - The Troggs cover 'I Can't Control Myself' and an original song 'Strength Of The Nation'. Neither of the singles made the UK charts but 'I Can't Control Myself' was a hit in Canada.

There's also a few tracks by The Teenbeats on the compilation albums 'Uppers On The South Downs' & 'Mod City'.
