Composer-pianist born in Clinton, Mass. Graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston with top honors. Made his New York debut in 1931. Sachse toured the Orient with many famous artists of the Music, Opera and Dance World. He accompanied many noted dancers and singers including Carmen Amaya. for whom he officiated as musical director on three trans-continental tours, Ruth St Denis, Michio Ito, Federico Rey, Ana Maria, Roberto Iglesias, Inesita, Teresita Osta, Luisa Triana, Carmellita Maracci, Jean Erdman and many others.
