Real name: Arthur James "Fats" Theus

American R&B and Soul saxophonist and flutist.
Born 11th October, 1933 in Heflin, Louisiana.
Died October, 1979, age 45.
Co-composer of the song "The Worm" (1968) by Jimmy McGriff Organ And Blues Band (with Jimmy McGriff and Sonny Lester), where Theus also played the tenor saxophone. He did extensive studio work in the 1960s-70s.
