Tapestry

Effective period / Period of releases: 1971 - 1973

Members: Jack Winters, Heather Winters, Judi Jensen

Montreal, Canada based folk rock band Tapestry were Judi Jensen, Jack Winters and Heather Woodburn (aka Heather Winters). The trio was signed to Polydor in 1971 and released their first single the same year, "Love Me Brother", produced by The Bells' Cliff Edwards. A second single, "Country Music", found the trio in the storm of the Maple Music Junket of 1972 and they showcased at the legendary Playboy Club. In late 1972 Jensen left the group and trio became the duo of Winters and Winters after Jack and Heather married. With the assistance of studio musicians they recorded their first full-length album "Down By Maple River". Several singles were released to no major success and Tapestry called it quits.
