Austrian band “Free Willy” is the musically unleashed part of the Willy cultural association Linz. Well-known and perhaps (even) lesser-known workers' songs, peace songs and protest songs are sung. Just as the cultural association itself is not designed by professionals, but by people who are stuck in their own (professional) contradictions every day, “Free Willy” is not a music project by professionals, but by those people in the cultural association who also enjoy it, to sing left-wing songs together.
