Виталий Псарёв

Real name: Виталий Вениаминович Псарёв

Born on September 10, 1951 in Khabarovsk. Graduate of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Leningrad State Conservatory (student of Konstantin Olkhov).
Since 1975, he has been working at the Ленконцерт (Lenconcert), now Петербург-концерт (Petersburg Concert) as a vocalist for the Поющие Гитары. Vitaly Psarev performs not only in concert programs: he played the role of Charon in the zong-opera Orpheus and Eurydice, the role of Lamme and Thyl in the rock opera Flemish Legend.
Since 1980, he continued his activities at the Lenconcert as a soloist-vocalist in the State Concert Orchestra of Russia conducted by Анатолий Бадхен.
Since 1982 he has been giving solo concerts.
In the early 1990s, Lenconcert experienced a decline in activity. Psarev created a small team of four people, with whom he performed at the Интерклуб (Interclub) on the Griboyedov channel. Periodically traveled to Hamburg, where he sang in a restaurant for four years.
Since 1997, Psarev has been a soloist of the St. Petersburg Music Hall.
1980 - diploma winner of the «Сочи-80» competition. 1981 - laureate of the All-Union competition «Ялта-81». 1986 - laureate of the award of the Leningrad Komsomol organization. Заслуженный артист России (2002).
