Real name: Robert James Blackman

A self taught musician. Who wrote many acoustic songs in the 60s and 70s. Born in 1942 in New York. Grew up in Brooklyn and Queens. He is a chiropractor by trade. Dr. Blackman lived in the bay area in the 80s and 90s when most of his known albums were released. He pressed his own albums through his riverwinds imprint. Riverwinds was designed by his wife at the time. It comes from Japanese art. Riverwinds was the name of his chiropractic business as well. He continues to make music and write books. He is based in Los Angeles.
