(4 July 1933 – 21 September 2021) was a Mexican singer and actress. also known as "". She began her recording career in 1950 with her elder sister Flor Silvestre; they made two duet recordings for Flor's record label, Discos Columbia De México, S.A.. Queta also recorded a couple of songs for Columbia. In 1954, she signed a contract with the Mexican label Peerless and released several duet recordings with Lola Beltrán and Hermanos Záizar. Queta recorded a string of hit singles and albums for Peerless until 1965, when she decided to sign with another record label, RCA Victor. Secreto / Dos Seres Que Se Aman and Las Jacarandas / Aunque Tengan Otros Amores are some of her RCA hits. In the early 1970s, she discovered Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel and became the first artist to record one of his compositions. In 1979, she won the first ranchera music festival and recorded the single Amantes De Una Noche • 1er. Lugar Del Festival De La Canción Ranchera.
