Mexican singer and actress (* August 28, 1947 - February 9, 2024). Martha Silvia Flores Corona took the artist name Renata and released her first rock record in 1964. In 1966 she released the EP Mi Novio Juan, which turned out to be a great success due to the song that gives it its name. Suddenly she caught the attention of the media. Interviews were conducted with her about her love of bullfighting and her desire to be a bullfighter. She appeared, as did the entire cast of Discos Orfeon, in the television program "Discotheque Orfeón A Go-Go", where she projected his shameless image, causing the acceptance of many young people and the rejection of their parents, an effective formula, used countless times by youth music marketers. She recorded other songs, now without much diffusion until well into the 1970s.
