American soul/funk band founded, led and managed by Paul Batiste since 1976, from New Orleans, Louisiana.Consisting of family members: Paul, David, Michael, Peter and Russell. Later joined by David's other son Damon in the studio for additional recordings.
By 1978, Damon and Russell would become members of the Batiste Brothers Band.
